THE SUMMER FROCK

IMG_5532 IMG_5532 IMG_5532

If there was a type of dress I could own during the summer, (in my case, it's summer all year round..) it would be an off shoulder dress. It is incredibly hot in Singapore right now, I guess that makes it the perfect opportunity to get a little sun-kissed with an off shoulder number. I paired this dress with my current favourite pair of slides from ALDO and I borrowed my Mom's straw bag to complete this look. Aren't slides the best thing ever created? I love how they are so effortless yet versatile, favourite footwear for warmer days.

I've worn this Tularosa dress a number of times and I find myself reaching for it whenever I'm out for a quick lunch or meeting. I am hopeless when it comes to anything crochet, it is definitely my weakness. Did I mention that they have a similar style here and a pop of yellow version too? And if you're in the mood for more crochet, this little crop top and romper from REVOLVE are perfect pieces for your summer wardrobe!

And we're back on the streets of Amsterdam! With the crazy heat going on in Singapore, double denim is definitely out of the equation. But if there was one wardrobe essential I could choose to wear despite it being crazy warm or cold, it would be a good ol' pair of mom jeans. I've lost count of the number of outfits I've styled with mom jeans, it's honestly my favourite type of jeans ever. When I saw this pair from Primark, I fell in love with the cut, the wash and... the price. Primark is honestly the best place to shop in Europe. I bought a whole bunch of stuff ranging from clothes to homeware, and I wanted to show you guys what I bought so I filmed a haul! It will be up on my YouTube channel by the end of the month. Don't forget to subscribe so you won't miss it!

Wearing: Lovers + Friends Tee in collaboration with REVOLVE, Runway Bandits pants, ASOS neck scarf

Bonjour! I couldn't help myself but to dress like a Parisian, switching up my bakerboy hat with a beret would have been a better option, but I love my bakerboy hat a little too much. I wore this Lovers + Friends tee while exploring Paris - searching for the best pain au chocolat, sightseeing at the Eiffel Tower and visiting the Louvre, it was a day to remember. More visuals on Paris will be up soon, stay with me loves! Meanwhile, you can watch my Disneyland Paris video here!

AT HOME IN HOVE,

IMG_5532 IMG_5532 IMG_5532 IMG_5532
Today I'm sharing another Airbnb worth checking out if you're ever in Hove, Brighton! This little loft had everything we needed (including an en suite), it was perfect. If you can't already tell from the photos, the bed is extremely comfortable – there were some days where Dan and I were really tempted to just stay in. Our host, Debbie, was really sweet and friendly. She recommended cafes and restaurants that were nearby, which was so helpful. (more on that below) The 2 things I loved most about this loft was that it was so full of light, and that the beach was just a 10 minutes walk away! I love choosing Airbnb over hotels while traveling as it's an opportunity to meet new people, and to experience how the locals live. You can check out Debbie's lovely loft here and here's $50 travel credit on your first Airbnb stay!

We decided to head into a little cafe that's just down the road called The Hidden Pantry. How was it? Well, let's just say we ended up eating our breakfast there every morning, for the next 5 days. Hands down, the best hot chocolate I've had. I tried 3 different hot chocolates - Hot Chocolate Drop (with white chocolate buttons), Hot Chocolate Crush (with crushed Maltesers, above) and the original Hot Chocolate (right). Definitely recommending the Hot Chocolate Crush and the Croissant with Smoked Salmon, Avocado and Chives, you can check out the breakfast menu here!

WHEN IN AMSTERDAM

Wearing: Fash Mob Langdon pants, Free People knit, Primark flats | Photos by Dan

Oh Amsterdam, you're definitely worth taking an 11-hours coach ride for. Everywhere we turned - picture perrrrfect! Wished we had a little more time to explore this beautiful city, guess that's an excuse to return! I wore this grey and white combo while exploring, and it was perfect for the weather at that time. White pants should be every girl's wardrobe and travel essential, you can never go wrong with a staple piece! If you're looking for more colors, you can go for Rosewood, or Moss Green

THE NAVY PLAYSUIT

Wearing: Fash Mob dress playsuit, Accessorize novelty bag, New Look boots | Photos by Dan

Some would like to think that the weather affects your wardrobe choices - well, gloomy wet days in London saw me reaching out for darker pieces. Dressed in Fash Mob's playsuit, a baker boy hat and my statement novelty bag, I immediately felt like this outfit made it to one of my favorites despite the weather. Even though London lacks some sunshine, it still has its charm. We skipped the Underground and walked to wherever we could, exploring London on foot is the best thing ever. Oh and I have to put it out there that leggings are the hardest piece of clothing to wear/keep/wash. It is so delicate that it gets ruined (cries) after one wear, who has the same problem? Not stopping myself from wearing them though, it's a love-hate relationship.

4 DAYS IN TASMANIA (PART 2)

Beverly Ville Beverly Ville Beverly Ville Beverly Ville Beverly Ville
Bruny Island

We took a ferry into Bruny Island (with our car) and drove around the island for a day. There were many attractions in Bruny Island, but we did not finish them all. Our first stop was Bruny Island Cheese Co where our friends bought some cheese, they also offer cheese tasting for $5! We headed to the Neck Lookout after, yet another stunner. Do check out the beach down on the left as well! Our last stop was a scenic 2 hours trail walk, watch more here! For more info on Bruny Island, click here!

Zoodoo Wildlife Park

We were quite excited for this attraction as Dan is practically an animal encyclopaedia. We managed to feed a lioness, the Tasmanian devils, wallabies and some emus while we were there. We sat in a little truck while the driver took us on a very informative tour around the park. You'll be able to pat zebras, camels and get up close with Emus. (Fun fact: Did you know that the lionesses are more aggressive than male lions? They hunt to feed the pride while the male lions care for the young.)

Our Airbnb

We stayed at Mieke's little nest and it felt like a home away from home. We were woken up by a glorious sunrise every morning and it was truly magical. We loved the little trail down to the creek from our mountain nest, definitely great for morning walks! And not forgetting Mieke's dog, Lulu -she was really good at fetch and also the sweetest dog ever.

And, that is the end of my trip to Tasmania! I hope this was helpful, it was my first time and definitely not my last! Will be returning to head to places that I didn't get to go. Tassie is a beautiful place and it was truly memorable.
